Field Day is to take place over two days in 2014, organisers have announced.

The festival will be held in its usual location of Victoria Park in London’s East End but over the entire weekend of 7 – 8 June.

Field Day first started out in 2007 with headline performances from the likes of Justice, Battles, Foals and Florence + The Machine.

The event has been a staple of the capital’s festival scene ever since with live outings and DJ sets from an eclectic range of acts and artists including John Cale, Erol Alkan, Animal Collective, Jon Hopkins and TNGHT.

Tom Baker from promoters Eat Your Own Ears said: ‘I am thrilled that Field Day is now taking place over two days in London’s Victoria Park. It’s been a long time coming. I can’t wait to reveal who’s playing.’

Limited tickets have been released for the Saturday of next year’s event although none of the acts on the line up have been confirmed.

Visit Field Day's website for more information on tickets and future updates on the festival.
