Future-focused international music business conference FastForward has announced a mentoring programme for six young music industry professionals, in partnership with Ticketmaster.
The programme will pair leaders from Ticketmaster and Live Nation with music industry workers who have previously attended a FastForward conference.
The mentors for the year-long programme are Christine Lanoy (senior director design & UX for product, Ticketmaster), Jackie Wilgar (senior vice president of marketing international, Live Nation), Jo Young (associate director of international marketing services, Ticketmaster), John Talbot (senior manager for international business development and artist relations, Ticketmaster), Kelly Chappel (vice president of touring, Europe, Live Nation) and Wes Holland (director of digital product and business development, marketing solutions, Live Nation).
Mark Yovich, president at Ticketmaster International, said: 'Supporting the next generation of leaders within the live industry is vital to ensuring continued success for the industry as a whole.
'Having a mentor there to guide you at the earlier stages of your career is invaluable, which is why we’re pleased to team up with FastForward on this programme.'
Chris Carey, founder of FastForward, added: 'Mentoring can be incredibly powerful, especially at the early stages of your career. I’m excited to see the impact that it will have.'
