The deal covers Rossi’s works for the iconic silent films The Battle of the Somme and The Battle of the Ancre.
The documentaries comprise archive footage from the French campaigns of 1916 and 1917 respectively and were originally screened in cinemas as part of the war effort.
Rossi has written extensively for film and television, including scores for Paul Andrew Williams’ features London to Brighton, The Cottage and Song for Marion, starring Vanessa Redgrave and Terence Stamp.
Her music has been recorded and performed by the Philharmonia, the London Musici Orchestra, London Contemporary Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Her works have been performed at the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. Rossi is also lecturer for film music at the London Film Academy.
