‘It’s safe to say that 2020 was a year like no other for everyone,’ comments Emma Maguire, Awards Director. ‘Despite the challenges and horrors, the industries we represent rallied, adapted and found ways to push on through. This year’s Awards will reveal the results and show the phenomenal grit, perseverance and exceptional achievements seen over the last year. The global pandemic may have hugely affected the conditions in which we work, but it hasn’t affected the quality of work itself.’
She goes on to say, ‘Our jury members this year are, as always, from the highest echelons of our industries and we are extremely grateful for their involvement. It is this high calibre of juror that makes winning a Music+Sound Award such a high accolade. So it’s with great delight that we announce the opening of 2021’s Music+Sound Awards! We wish everyone the best of luck with their entries.’
