BMG Production Music are calling on music makers to reimagine some of their archive music from French library label, Tele Music, in The Hidden Hit Maker’s Sample Challenge.
As well as putting their stamp on this iconic label, winners will receive £250, a 50% royalty split and a gift bundle from BMGPM and Tele Music.
A judging panel will be made up of BMGPM’s global production teams and industry experts, including Matt Kaleda (music supervisor on Top Gear, The Grand Tour), Rachel Menzies (music supervisor and owner of Dynamic Music), Jamie Messenger (composer on Neighbours) and more.
The judges will be picking their ten favourite submissions for a full digital release, which will be made available for use in sync worldwide.
The rules are as follows:
- Sample from one track only
- No use of third-party samples
- Keep your track less than 3 minutes 45 seconds
- Upload your finished track to SoundCloud with the tag #bmgpmsample
BMGPM and Tele Music will be donating all its synch profits from this compilation to charitable causes supporting musicians in this time of need.
The deadline for submissions is 6pm (GMT+1), Monday 20 April. Winners will be contacted Monday 27 April.
