Endeacott, who discovered The Libertines and A&R'd The Strokes, has secured distribution for the label through PIAS.

He also runs Oh Mercy artist management, which works with Coves, Edwyn Collins, Eugene McGuinness and Filthy Boy.

1965 was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of Sony BMG, and has been responsible for bringing The View, Toddla T and The Monks Kitchen to the public eye.

Watch Endeacott discuss how emerging acts can build their career and make money from their music at a recent careers panel we organised with Andy Ellis, Alex Sharman (both PRS for Music), Pete Bott (media lawyer)and Kat Kennedy (artist manager) -
