Foruli Classics is to publish a fully revised biography of rock supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer (ELP).

Emerson, Lake and Palmer: The Show That Never Ends... Encore by Forrester, Hanson and Askew was first published in 2000 but this latest version has been fully updated to cover the later years of the band including their final comeback tour in 2010.

ELP, which originally consisted of Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake on guitar and vocals, and Carl Palmer on drums, formed during the 70s and drew on their love for classical, jazz and rock music to create their prog rock sound.

Over the course of their career, the band became known for their live shows and sold more than 40m albums worldwide. The group ended up falling out and going through several incarnations during the 80s and 90s before their final reunion gig in 2010.

This revised version of the book draws from interviews with band members and associates as well as a host of archive sources.

The edition released on 12 August from Foruli Classics is available to buy online via the website and Amazon for just £14.99.

A limited edition of only 50 hardbacks will also be available, each one hand-signed by Carl Palmer.
