Elizabeth Fraser, formerly from the legendary Cocteau Twins, is to provide a score for new TV series, Nightmare Worlds of H.G. Wells.

According to Loaded, this creative foray is the vocalist’s most extensive for the best part of two decades since the Cocteau Twin’s final 1996 album Milk and Kisses.

The Scottish singer released two solo singles and collaborated with the likes of Massive Attack and the Future Sound Of London but this new venture with husband Damon Reece is her first full length project for some time.

The duo have composed an operatic score for the upcoming series Nightmare Worlds of H.G. Wells - a four-part mini-series set to debut on Sky Arts 28 January.

The series will feature four adaptations of stories by H.G. Wells and includes performances by Michael Gambon and Ray Winstone.
