The event, which takes place on Monday 23 June from 7.30pm to 9.00pm at Traverse Theatre 2, EIFF Delegate Centre, will carry a specific focus on creating unique soundtracks for documentaries.
Composer Anne Nikitin will take part in the panel discussion and will be on hand to answer questions alongside Score Draw’s Mark Gordon, a Northern Irish DJ, sync agent and documentary score writer.
Nikitin’s score for the 2012 EIFF festival hit The Imposter was nominated for Best Original Score at the Cinema Eye Honors Awards in New York.
She has also composed music for the BBC, Channel 4, Film4, History Channel, Discovery, National Geographic and Sky Movies, as well as a range of independent films.
After the panel and Q&A session, PRS for Music and BAFTA members will be able to meet in the Traverse bar for some informal networking.
Ticket allocation is strictly limited. PRS for Music members wishing to attend should email stuart.fleming@prsformusic.com as soon as possible.
