Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, has chosen Robbie Williams and Neil Diamond as his Desert Island Discs.
The politician followed in the footsteps of his Tory counterpart and prime minister David Cameron by appearing on the BBC Radio 4 show
The South African national anthem Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika and Jerusalem were included alongside slightly more contemporary songs from the likes of Robbie Williams and A-ha.
According to the Daily Mail, Mr Miliband, told presenter Kirsty Young: 'It's absolutely my list. It's a list that is personal to me - some people will not like some of the songs and that's as it should be - but this is a list I chose.'
Prime minister David Cameron’s choices included songs from Pink Floyd, The Smiths and REM.
