Calling all DJs and producers - early bird tickets are now available for the Brighton Music Conference (BMC) in April 2014.
The event, which is due to run 11-12 April, will see showcases from audio experts Ableton, Native Instruments and Sennheiser while Funktion-One’s founder Tony Andrews will be giving a presentation on audio quality.
Pioneer’s Rik Parkinson will be leading a discussion on hardware, controllers and software with the so-called ‘baron of techno’ Dave Clarke and ex Rhythm Master Steve Mac.
The Brighton’s Dance Music Legacy art exhibition will also feature - this display will honour the city’s dance music heritage with an interactive display showing off the most important electronic releases to come from Brighton.
Meanwhile, underground UK house label Hypercolour will host a label night on 12 April as part of the event.
PRS for Music will be attending the event to help spread the word of dance music initiative Amplify and encourage dance music songwriters and producers to join the collecting society.
