DIT kicks off its music events roadshow 2017

The Department for International Trade (DIT) begin its tour today – a series of free events geared towards music businesses, record labels and self-releasing artists.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) begins its roadshow tour today (5 September), featuring a series of free events geared towards music businesses, record labels and self-releasing artists.

A must-attend for anyone wanting to develop their music business and gain insight into some of the world’s biggest and most influential music trade and showcase events, the roadshow takes in seven dates around the UK.

Representatives from BBC Introducing, Midem and SXSW will take part, while PRS Foundation and PRS for Music are among those appearing in roundtable sessions.

Among the topics covered will be how to showcase your music, artists or business, how the DIT can help develop your business internationally, as well as available funding and support.
