PledgeMusic founder and CEO Benji Rogers will present the case for blockchain and lead the session on how this new wave of innovation has the potential to transform the way the music industry operates.
Multi-award winning artist Imogen Heap is collaborating with coders, artists and companies to help shape the future of the music industry so that music can be enjoyed as widely as possible while the creative parties are remunerated directly and instantaneously via micro payments using cryptocurrencies. Blockchain technology offers the opportunity to simultaneously share music but at the same time ensure that licensing and commercial obligations are properly met.
