The organisers behind SensoriaPro is offering PRS for Music members £15 off tickets to their latest event.
SensoriaPro takes place on 4 October at Town Hall in Sheffield, and gathers together composers, filmmakers, music publishers, music supervisors, games developers and festivals to discuss the latest innovations in music and the moving image.
The line up so far features the Sesnoria Scoring Contest, which gives budding composers opportunity to have their music critiqued by sync experts. Plus this year the event will present the launch trailer for the latest Sony PSVR game Blood & Truth.
Hosted by the Association of Independent Festival (AIF) the Festivals: From Bagging Stage Time to Grabbing Headlines session will look at how festivals help build an artist’s career.
The panel guests include Ami Lord (Standon Calling), Emma Zillmann (Kendal Calling, Bluedot) and Paul Reed (AIF), who will explain how to get noticed and what bookers are looking for.
The session will also spotlight various artists' journeys to headline status and those who play the 'long game' making a living on the festival and live circuit.
Additionally, Dawn Shadforth will be in conversation about her career working in music video and the event will feature a session looking at the different ways independent record labels operate and the added value they bring in an age of DIY digital services.
Award-winning composer Nainita Desai will also be appearing to talk about her career and latest projects.
