Dave Stewart has signed up to work with Kobalt Label Services (KLS) for the global release of his new album Lucky Numbers.

The one-time Eurythmics singer songwriter will release his latest record on 30 September via his own Weapons of Mass Entertainment imprint.

KLS will be responsible for marketing and distributing the album via its global digital platform and network.

Dave said: ‘I’ve had a really great relationship with Kobalt for over five years and it seemed natural to me when they started KLS, to continue working with such a great company.’

The publishers will handle the release in all territories except Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Kobalt has been working with Dave since 2009 when they organised a deal to administer his songs and sync licensing deals.

The songwriter’s career includes selling 100m album sales as one half of the Eurythmics alongside Annie Lennox. The pair enjoyed a number of huge hits such as Sweet Dreams, Here Comes the Rain Again and Would I Lie To You.

Stewart is also a distinguished producer having collaborated with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Mick Jagger and Bob Dylan.
