In her new role Seibert will oversee all the company’s licensing activity, aiming to both maximise revenues from the existing catalogue as well as managing licensing enquiries on behalf of MCPS UK and Ireland.
She will also continue to look after both new and existing clients and work closely with the director of music on strengthening rightsholder relationships by increasing CueSongs revenues.
Seibert joined CueSongs in the week of its launch back in August 2012 as an account manager, and has a background in marketing.
She said: ‘Having been at CueSongs from the beginning and seeing it go from strength to strength, I am looking forward to contributing to the continued success of the business. 2015 has been CueSongs biggest year yet and I can't wait to see what 2016 brings!’
Christina Vaughan, CueSongs chief executive, said: ‘2015 has been an exciting year of change for CueSongs. We have been very focused on how we deliver relevant commercial music to the millions of professional creators in the YouTube and all new media platforms who understand that better commercial music delivers better return on investment for them as we create a virtuous circle of prosperity across from Rightsholder to creator.
‘We very much feel we are at the forefront of an idea whose time has come. Charlotte has been a joy to work with this year and instrumental in quadrupling sales for CueSongs from last year. We are very excited to continue working for someone who believes in the power of fantastic music and always has artists’ interests at heart.’
