65daysofstatic and Mount Kimbie are among the live acts performing at the Convergence music and technology series in London.

Taking place from 22-27 April, the events are presented by Village Underground and will bring together a series of talks and gigs based around technology and art.

Fuck Buttons, Mount Kimbie and Fennesz will perform at the Barbican on 25 April as part of online retailer Bleep’s 10th anniversary event.

Sheffield’s experimental rockers 65daysofstatic will perform their live soundtrack to film Silent Runnings at Village Underground on 27 April.

Glenn Max from Village Underground said: ‘Convergence will celebrate the restless spirit that propels the ongoing dialogue between art and technology.

‘It is an opportunity for like-minded people interested in the convergence of art and technology to come together and recognise a shared sense of optimism and acknowledge the collaborative spirit that carries music into the future.’

More line up announcements, pre-show talks and drop in discussions about music art and technology to be announced shortly.

Convergence will commence at venues across east London, including Village Underground, Barbican Centre, St John at Hackney and ACE Hotel. It will bring together promoters and technologists including Black Atlantic, Noise of Art, Bleep and Mixcloud.
