Composer Tim Atack inks deal with Manners McDade

Film and TV composer Tim Atack has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Manners McDade.

Atack, who started his career in seventies’ pop band Child, has since scored for features including Ricky Gervais’ The Invention Of Lying plus Cemetery JunctionDead Cert, Re-Uniting The Rubins and most recently, St George’s Day.

His TV credits include the BBC’s disaster docu-drama Krakatoa – The Last Days and a contemporary version of Much Ado About Nothing starring Damian Lewis.

Atack has also recently completed the score to a film adaptation of A Christmas Candle, starring Susan Boyle.

Manners McDade music publishing was founded in 2006 by Catherine Manners and Bob McDade and now counts Nils Frahm, Jon Opstad, Poppy Ackroyd and The Mighty Boosh’s Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt among its roster.
