City Showcase is to host Finding the Future 2015, a free series of showcases exploring the latest music industry developments and trends.
Taking place 18-20 November at the Apple Store, Covent Garden, representatives from the likes of PRS for Music, Sony/ATV, Absolute, the Musicians’ Union, Ministry of Sound, BASCA and Believe Digital will all be speaking on panels.
UK Music chief executive Jo Dipple will give a key note presentation providing an insight into the key issues and challenges facing the UK music industry as we head towards 2016.
There will also be interviews with legendary industry veterans including Daniel Miller from Mute Records interviewed by Alison Wenham from AIM and Robomagic founder Rob Hallett interviewed by James Hanley from Music Week.
New acts will also perform daily 7-7.30pm with PRS for Music, the PRS For Music Foundation and PPL representatives on hand to answer questions about the industry. Last year's evening panels featured Island Records new signing Nick Brewer.
The initiative is supported by PRS for Music, PPL, Robertson Taylor W&P Longreach and the Musicians’ Union.
