Welsh singer songwriter Cate Le Bon is to release third album Mug Museum on Turnstile Records.

11 November will see the release of the highly anticipated record following Me oh My and Cyrk.

Inspiration sparked after the death of her grandmother, with what she describes as ‘a very palpable shift’ within family life, leaving Cate questioning the importance of her place and ‘purpose within this female chain.’

Currently relocating to California, she recorded Mug Museum in Seahorse Sound studios, in Los Angeles with the help of Joanna Newsom and Devendra Banhart producer Noah Georgeson.

Read our full length interview with Cate from last year where she discusses songwriting and working with her musical compadres in Wales.
