Electronic pioneers Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti will be performing a special gig in Sheffield as Chris and Cosey this October.

Taking place at the Picture House Ballroom on 4 October and presented by experimental promoters Sensoria, Carter Tutti play Chris and Cosey will see the pair reworking their eighties material via ‘the modern day, perhaps more viscerally electronic, workings of their current moniker of Carter Tutti’.

This Sheffield gig will be one of the last shows of this kind before a studio album of the same name based on these live performances is released later in the year.

Both Chris and Cosey are credited as key innovators in electronic and industrial music with their roles in Throbbing Gristle before working together on their own material including techno pop classic October-Love Song (1983) and dancefloor hit Exotica (1987).

On the night, Cabaret Voltaire’s one-time vocalist Stephen Mallinder will be performing in support with his new Wrangler project.
