The Cambridge Folk Festival is to celebrate its 50th anniversary with the release of a live compilation of performances.

Delphonic Records are behind the release which will feature 50 of the very best live tracks recorded at the event.

Martin Simpson, Beth Orton, Cerys Matthews and Frank Turner are all among the featured artists.

This year’s event takes place 31 July - 3 August with Van Morrison headlining the final night of the event. Sinead O’Connor will offer a rare live performance in the same slot on Friday 1 August.
