The writer and producer, who has worked with Kylie Minogue, Gabrielle Aplin and Everyone You Know, has inked a worldwide publishing deal with Bucks Music Group.
Seton began his career as the lead guitarist in the British rock band Fiction Plane, who recorded four studio albums and toured with acts like Snoop Dogg, The Police and Paul Weller.
He transitioned from writing with the band to co-writing for other people and eventually joined writer and producer team Biffco to work with various artist including Sub Focus and 5 Seconds of Summer.
The latter’s album went to number 1 in the UK, US and Australia accumulating 259,000 sales in the first week of release.
More recently, he has produced many of the artists he writes with including Black Honey, Gabrielle Aplin and Tomi.
In 2018, he received PRS Foundation’s Writer Producer Fund in association with BASCA (now The Ivors Academy) Trust.
Seton says: ‘Being in a band and touring has taught me a great deal about writing and performing with artists and having the capacity to collaborate in a genuine and unforced way which artists react well to. Having played on so many different records I have also learned how to be flexible and apply myself to multiple styles and genres of music. I’m really excited to be working with the fantastic team at Bucks.’
