The BPI Yearbook 2013, widely recognised as the definitive source of annual music industry statistics, is now available.

This latest edition is the 34th to have been published and features 94 pages of stats, charts and commentary on the music business.

Analysis from BPI is included alongside data from the likes of the Official Charts Company, Futuresource Consulting, Nielsen and Kantar.

The publication includes reports on the success of domestic artists both at home and abroad, the success of different genres, the number of sales needed for a chart hit and analysis of streaming.

BPI Yearbook 2013 is now on sale for £80. Purchase the publication from the BPI’s online store.

A previous report from the BPI revealed that CD and digital album sales increased during the first quarter of the year for the first time since the fourth quarter of 2009. Read the full M story.
