The BPI and Music Publishers Association (MPA) are hosting a trade mission to Germany for independent labels and publishers.

Taking place on 17 September in Hamburg, the trip will give indie music organisations the opportunity to explore opportunities in the German market place.

The one day event will allow attendees insight via panels and talks as well as offering opportunities to network with key players in the German music business.

According to organisers, the mission will be run in conjunction with Reeperbahn Festival, 17 - 20 September 2014.

Last year UK acts accounted for almost one in five (17.9 percent) of all artist albums sold in the territory - a three year high for Brits in Germany.

The cost of the trade mission includes entry to the Reeperbahn Festival.

Visit the BPI website or contact the BPI (debi.blackgrove@bpi.co.uk) or the MPA (SHantsch@mpaonline.org.uk) if you want to attend.
