The BPI, the representative voice for independent labels and major record companies across the UK, today announces the launch of ‘Meet The Market Pitch Webinars’, part of the BPI’s Music & Tech Springboard.
As part of the BPI’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the Meet The Market Pitch Webinars will see a different Springboard member present their music tech service for five minutes each day for one week, with the first edition taking place on Zoom every day at noon from Monday 27 to Friday 31 March. The second round of webinars will take place in the early summer and will feature a different selection of Springboard startups.
The pitch webinars are open to all BPI members and associate members, educational institutions, Venture Capital firms and anyone who is interested in learning more about the new technologies and solutions that are coming to the music industry.
Music & Tech Springboard is a BPI initiative designed to bring the music community and tech startups closer together. The Springboard programme provides collaboration and networking opportunities for a growing global community of music tech startups who are working to add value and support innovation within the music industry. Current Springboard members have created cutting-edge solutions across a range of categories including generative AI, gaming, artist and creator services, distribution and direct to fan marketing.
Amalie Briden, BPI Innovation Manager, says 'During a time when technological change is occurring at a faster pace than ever, it is vital the music and tech industries unite through creative and collaborative partnerships to be ahead of the curve. We are delighted to bridge this gap through the launch of these webinars and provide our Springboard members with direct access to the wider music community to showcase their cutting-edge solutions.'
