BMG, Just Isn’t Music and Beggars Group were among the biggest winners at the annual Music Week Sync Awards.
Independent publisher BMG won in the Sync Team – Publisher category, while the Sync Team – Independent Publisher prize went to Ninja Tune-affiliated publisher Just Isn’t Music.
Elsewhere, Sony Music received the award for Sync Team – Record Company and Beggars Group took home the Sync Team – Independent Record Company award.
Previous M cover stars Portishead won in the Best Sync – Film Soundtrack category for their cover of ABBA’s S.O.S, which appeared in the film High-Rise.
The Sync Artist of the Year Award went to Jamie N Commons while Overall Sync of the Year Award went to Grace’s You Don’t Own Me, featured in House of Fraser campaign.
The ceremony took place on 20 October at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom and was hosted by comedian Jo Caulfield.
