New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is to host a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the work of Björk.
The Bjork exhibition is expected to open on 7 March 2015 and will be organised by MoMA’s chief curator Klaus Biesenbach.
Costumes, performances and instruments from across her 20 year solo career will all be featured in the retrospective.
According to MoMA’s website, ‘the installation will present a narrative, both biographical and imaginatively fictitious, co-written by Björk and the acclaimed Icelandic writer Sjón Sigurdsson.
‘Björk’s collaborations with video directors, photographers, fashion designers, and artists will be featured, and the exhibition culminates with a newly commissioned, immersive music and film experience conceived and realized with director Andrew Huang and 3-D design leader Autodesk.’
The exhibition is expected to run for three months until 7 June.
