Bjork will return to London in September to perform a one-off gig at Alexandra Palace as part of her Biophilia tour.

The Icelandic artist has promised to bring ‘all the wonder and intimacy’ of her Biophilia tour to Alexandra Palace on 3 September.

A news piece on the star’s website said: ‘It will be the first in-the-round show ever performed at the venue and will be an emotionally significant show for Bjork herself who called the city home in her youth.’

The tour has been around the world since it was debuted at the Manchester International Festival back in 2011. This gig is expected to be the last in-the-round show Bjork performs in Europe.

Biophilia is the eighth album from the artist and was released back in 2011 as a series of apps - it was the first multi-media release of its kind. Read the M feature on Biophilia here and the interview with Bjork here.
