The British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM) is presenting an educational programme at The Great Escape (TGE) 2016 with speakers including The Maccabees' Felix White and Tony Wadsworth CBE.

The conference runs in Brighton from Thursday 19-21 May, showcasing more than 450 emerging artists from across the globe.

BIMM has created a programme of events across the three days in Brighton and Hove, including The BIMM Student Sessions in Partnership with UK Music.

Special guests and speakers as part of the TGE/BIMM programme of events include The Maccabees' Felix White, keynote speaker Tony Wadsworth CBE; plus Phil Nelson, Martin Elbourne, Russell Warby and Mark Davyd.

Commenting, Tony Wadsworth CBE, said: ‘Brighton is a vibrant music city with a great live scene, and BIMM and TGE are two of its best home-grown inventions. The Student Sessions enable BIMM students and industry delegates to mix, discuss and debate all things music. I’m sure it will be a learning opportunity for all parties.’
