They are joined by Ben Khan, FARAO, Francis Lung, Kate Simko & London Electric Orchestra, Mo Kolours, Mr Bigz, Silvastone, Telegram, Victories at Sea, The Xcerts and XO.

The artists are the first round of successful applicants to receive a reward package from Momentum’s official digital partner Spotify.

The package includes promotional opportunities and gives the artists a closer working relationship with the Spotify team, access to tools, features and best practices that will enable them to connect with Spotify's 75 million active users across 58 markets globally.

The Momentum Music Fund is managed by PRS for Music Foundation, in conjunction with Arts Council England, and awards grants of £5,000 to £15,000 to help with artist career development.

The next deadline for applications is 6 October 2015 via the PRS for Music Foundation website: www.prsformusicfoundation.com/Funding/Momentum-Music-Fund

Ryder-Jones said: ‘Had I not been granted the Momentum Music Fund I simply wouldn't have been able to promote my record properly. The money we receive means I'll be able to go out and tour, there's just no way I could have afforded to do that otherwise.’

Bryan Johnson, Spotify artist ambassador, said: ‘This latest round of Momentum funding, the first with Spotify’s involvement, features an exciting line up of artists representing a wide variety of genres.

‘We look forward to working closely with all the artists and their teams to assist in furthering their careers through the Spotify reward package, and to help showcase their music globally to our 75 million active users.’
