A beaten-up old piano could sell for as much as £150,000 because it was played by The Beatles.
The upright piano is from Abbey Road studios' famous Studio 3 and was used by the Fab Four as they created the song Paperback Writer in 1966. However, the piano doesn't feature in the finished record.
The piano was also used by other famous bands including Pink Floyd.
Stephen Maycock, a specialist in Beatles memorabilia at Bonhams said: 'It still plays although it would perhaps benefit from a professional tuner having a listen.'
The auction of the piano will take place at Vintage Goodwood festival in West Sussex on August 15. The festival celebrates six decades of British popular culture and runs over the weekend of August 13-15.
