Looking for a bit of fresh inspiration? Check out the BBC’s new sound library of weird and wonderful noises.
The BBC Sound Archive has released a bank of more than 16,000 sound effects, including animal sounds, old conversations and military gun sounds from wartime.
The archive, which is currently in beta, is easily searchable and each sample can be previewed before you download.
The sounds have been released under the ‘RemArc licence’, which means they can be used for ‘personal, educational or research purposes’, but you must adhere to the BBC’s terms and conditions.
