Superfood, Declan McKenna and Cosima are among the new and emerging artists performing as part of a BBC Introducing showcase at Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2017.

Taking place 27-28 May at Burton Constable Hall in Hull, the line up consists of local and national artists picked by the BBC Introducing team for big things.

According to BBC Introducing, 'over the years we have seen so much exciting, new talent grace the Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend who have gone on to become the next superstars of the future - and we have no doubt this year will be no different.

'This year we're very proud to be hosting some of the finest new, local talent from Humberside on our stage. Alan Raw and the BBC Music Introducing in Humberside team have handpicked the hottest new acts emerging out of Hull, including The Hubbards, Lumer, Jack Conman, C.O AKA Chiedu Oraka and 'returning act' LIFE.'

All the artists on our line-up first shared their music with us via the BBC Music Introducing Uploader, which has led each of them to receive their first ever radio play on one of our 38 BBC Music Introducing local shows around the UK.
