PRS Foundation, together with PPL, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Wales, Welsh Government, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Invest Northern Ireland, Spotify and Ben Sherman, reveal the next artists who will receive support from the pioneering PPL Momentum Music Fund.
The artists, who have been selected by a network of industry experts, are:

Low Island – Marketing
Mega – Marketing
Model Man – Marketing
Robocobra Quartet – Recording and Touring (2021)
Managed by PRS Foundation, the PPL Momentum Music Fund awards grants of £5,000-£15,000 using funds from PRS Foundation, PPL, Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Wales, Welsh Government, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland. Spotify, the official digital partner on the fund, contributes additional funding and a reward package containing exciting promotional opportunities and a close working relationship between Momentum artists and the Spotify team. Event partner Ben Sherman offers live opportunities, additional marketing, promotional and bespoke branding support.
PPL Momentum supported Dana Gavinski said: ‘This fund is a huge help, especially during these very uncertain times, helping me focus on making a beautiful album with people that inspire me.’

We recognise the importance of being able to continue to support talent at critical tipping points, enabling them to navigate their way into what could be a new look music industry and ensuring that new music is still able to cut through despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Helping get talent back to work and ensuring that they do not lose the momentum that they have worked so hard to achieve up to this point in their careers is so important and this fund as well as the PRS Foundation's other funding opportunities are playing a vital role in sector recovery and underscoring how crucial it is to support creation, resilience and long term development.’

Hundreds of creators have had their careers supported by this fund – indeed, four of this year’s Mercury Prize nominees are past recipients – and so we are excited to see what, with the help of our grants, these twelve artists can achieve.
