Applications have now opened for the 2020 edition of the internationally renowned SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
The early deadline for 2020 Showcasing Artist applications is 13 September 2019 and the final deadline is 25 October 2019.
The SXSW Music Festival takes place from 16 to 22 March 2020 and is one of the most influential global music events in the calendar.
Successful applicants will showcase at one of Austin’s live music venues, where the festival welcomes 30,000 industry representatives, 3,000 media members and thousands of fans.
Showcase applications are open to solo acts and bands from any part of the world and from across all genres.
The fee for early bird applications is $35 which rises to $55 after 13 September. All applications will be notified about whether they have been successful by 17 January 2020.
Artists that are invited to showcase are guaranteed at least one showcase slot.
