UK Music, in association with British Black Music, is hosting an event aimed at giving careers advice for aspiring music industry professionals.
Taking place at London’s New River Studios on 25 September, the Introduction to the Music Industry workshop is aimed at 18-25 year olds and will provide tips on the skills and experience they need to break into the business.
Speakers at the event include BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson, Alex Boateng and DJ Semtex.
Up and coming grime star Little Simz will offer a songwriting workshop while the Music Publishers Association will give a session on developing a career in publishing.
