Arts Council Wales and BBC Wales are calling for talented Welsh artists and bands to apply for the Launchpad Fund.
Launchpad will offer 25 grants of up to £2,000 each designed to support activities that will help artists or bands to take the next step in their careers.
In its third year, the Launchpad Fund - which is aimed at those starting out on their musical careers - is part of the Horizons scheme to develop new and independent contemporary music in Wales.
Applications are open to help Welsh artists and bands writing, producing and performing original material. Entries close on 5 October 2016.
Rhosgadfan band Castles, who played at the Reading and Leeds Festival, was one of the bands who benefited from the Launchpad fund.
Commenting, the band said: ‘As well as helping to fund the making and releasing of our debut album, the funding towards manufacturing physical copies will enable us to re-invest in the band from the revenue generated from selling them, which means we will be able to fund band projects in future.
'The achievements we've gained this year would have taken years to accomplish without the help of the Launchpad Fund.’
