Applications are open for the PRS Foundation Award for Best Newcomer at The Production Music Awards 2017.
PRS Foundation have teamed up with the awards to celebrate new writers in the production music industry and, 'highlight talented new composers that are bringing something unique to the field.'
The deadline for entries is 1 September 2017. Nominees will be selected by the judges and announced on 12 October, with the winner announced at the awards on 24 November.
It is free to enter for libraries submitting at least one other entry and composers must have had their first library works registered within the last two years.
The Production Music Awards set out to champion the depth and quality of modern production music to the wider sync, media and advertising industries.
This year, PRS for Music, alongside MCPS Production Music, will play a key role in supporting the awards, helping to increase its presence in the music industry and the media industries as a whole.
