Calling all composers, songwriters and music-makers from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds – apply for your free place on the 2017 Lyric Workshop Week.
The initiative is run by Lyric Hammersmith, Opera North and the Royal Opera House, and is aimed specifically at BAME creators who are interested in collaborating on new works and exploring the possibilities within opera.
Successful applicants will work with singers and musicians, meet potential collaborators, develop ideas and receive feedback on their work.
The free workshop takes place from 3 to 7 July at Lyric Hammersmith, with those applicants living outside London eligible to receive help with travel expenses and accommodation costs.
To apply, complete the online application form by 5pm on Monday 29 May.
