Anna Meredith, Tansy Davies and Colin Matthews are among the composers speaking as part of a BBC Proms Inspire Composer Q&A.
Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 28 August, the event is aimed at 12-25 year olds looking to begin their journeys in the classical music industry.
The one hour event will offer their insight into the music business from their perspectives and share their journeys to have they have arrived at where they are today.
The Q&A will be hosted by Guardian music critic Kate Molleson and there will be a chance to ask questions to the panel.
This event will take place 14:00-15:00. Places are limited and must be reserved in advance. Get your tickets.
The BBC Proms Inspire scheme is for budding composers who want to write their own music. The scheme provides a friendly environment in which these young artists can share ideas, participate in workshops, meet other young composers and develop their musical creativity.
