PRS for Music CEO Andrea Czapary Martin has been named on Billboard’s Women In Music Top Executives list for the second consecutive year.
After being included among the 2023 cohort, Andrea has been honoured by the publication once again with its 2024 list, which celebrates high-achieving women from every sector of the music industry.
This year’s recognition by Billboard, which comes as PRS celebrates its 110th year, cites Andrea's ongoing commitment to maximising the value of creators’ rights via her five-year plan to pay out £1 billion in royalties by 2026.
'We are two years ahead of that,' Andrea told Billboard about that target, with PRS's financial results for 2023 set to be announced soon. 'What differentiates us is our systems.'
Billboard have also highlighted Andrea's additional goal of further promoting PRS in other markets as a rights organisation that can manage international rights.
