AIM Independent Music Awards announces full 2014 shortlist

London Grammar, FKA Twigs and the Arctic Monkeys are among the acts named in the shortlist for the AIM Independent Music Awards 2014.

London Grammar, FKA Twigs and the Arctic Monkeys are among the acts named in the shortlist for the AIM Independent Music Awards 2014.

The three piece receive four nods including best live act and independent breakthrough band of the last year.

FKA Twigs, whose debut album LP1has just been released, and the Arctic Monkeys both received two nominations alongside the likes of Future Islands, Dan Le Sac VS Scroobius Pip andtUnE-yArDs.

Kode9 aka Hyperdub record label boss Steve Goodman and Beggars Group head Martin Mills have already been named as recipients of the Innovator and Pioneer awards respectively.
