AIM announce the return of Indie-Con

David Emery from Kobalt Label Services and Joseph Frankland from the PRS For Music Foundation are among the speakers at Indie-Con 2014.

Taking place on take place on 18 November at Glaziers Hall, London, the event will explore the key areas essential for running a successful independent music business.

Further sessions in the programme include successful music funding (case studies), an analysis of fair artist contracts, the five most interesting things happening in the music market right now and a panel examining whether the album format is dead.

Other speakers include representatives from BBC Radio 1, Live Nation, Tim Dellow and Toby L from Transgressive Records and Fat White Family manager Stuart Green.

2013 saw over 300 independent music professionals gather for the sell-out event.

An early bird rate is available for those purchasing tickets before 22nd October 2014. Tickets are £35+VAT (£42) for AIM members/friends of AIM, or £90+VAT (£108) for non-members.

After 22 October, tickets will be £45+VAT (£54) for AIM members/friends and £110+VAT (£132) for non-members.
