Line Up

The Southwest London schoolmates turned twenty something guitar pop visionaries Jonny Garner, Simon Harding, Kerry Lambert and Luke Joyce  decided on leaving behind  their grunge covers band roots  in November 2008, utilising  their childhood roots  in Motown, The  Beatles, Led Zep and  Nirvana and channeling  their creative forces for the  reinvention of alt.rock.

fiN wrote, recorded & produced the album themselves in a disused shelving factory in Wandsworth “It started out quite heavy but we didn’t want to be just a heavy band.  We wanted to be a band that wasn’t afraid to write pop songs as well as still have the indie rock element”.  Mixed by Adrian Bushby (Muse, Two Door Cinema Club and Foo Fighters), after the band sent a track to him on a whim. The band aren’t just treading fresh paths with the sound either.  In a unique move, fiN are releasing the record on a series of 6x 7” singles which will make up the 12 rack album. Fans will simply collect the vinyl’s at gigs or from the bands website, receiving a download code which allows them access to the MP3s, videos and extra footage for every song.

Intelligent and edgy, five-piece electro pop outfit THE SPECIAL Ks have taken the south by storm with their catchy, synth driven pop, and with their debut album in the final stages of production they are now preparing to embark on their second UK tour.
Band members Howard Kaye (vocals), Darren Watts (keys), Mat Griffiths (guitar), Tom Gandolfo (bass) and Ryan Holt (drums), met through chance encounters after moving to Brighton from all over the UK in 2008. They began rehearsing together immediately and quickly developed a unique style of song writing, creating ways to weave each instrumental part while retaining their trademark energetic dance beats.
The band’s music bridges the gap between chart-topping pop and intensely clever live technology, and has gained them a legion of fans through their pitch perfect, high energy live shows.

Akayzia is a London based indie pop group, who write and perform poignant tales of modern city life. The band is fronted by Akayzia Parker who grew up touring with her parents company with artists like Tina Turner and David Bowie. Akayzia also spent her childhood summers travelling to music festivals in the UK and around Europe with her large close knit family. She spent a few years living in New York.
She has written and had songs featured for major TV shows, films and co-written with  artists such as Groove Armada and Paul Hartnoll of Orbital fame. The bands artfully delivered songs are hard to pigeonhole as they are influenced by many musical genres, more notably Rock, Folk and Blues of which the later is heavily evident in the vocal performances. The band was formed at tec music school in 2009.  Adam East plays guitar, studies guitar and lives guitar! This Watford based musician has been playing guitar for 10 years and works part-time in a music shop. Emmanuel Folorunso is the plays bass and lives with his family in south east London, he honed his skills playing gospel music at his church. Jose is the newest member of the band.
