A live performance from Adam Ant and a screening of new film Blueback Hussar will close this year’s East End Film Festival (EEFF).

According to organisers, the event at the Genesis Cinema on 25 June will feature a screening, a Q&A with the director Jack Bond and film’s star as well as a special live performance.

The film explores the life of Adam and his music during his 2011 comeback after battling mental illness and subsequent disappearance from public life.

It features contributions from the likes of Charlotte Rampling, Mark Ronson, Allen Jones, John Robb and Jamie Reynolds.

Other music films at this year's festival include A Curious Life, a history of nineties indie act the Levellers.
