ACM students will be able to showcase and produce music at the renowned west London studios and take advantage of new work-based learning accreditations and apprenticeships.

Metropolis will use the opportunity to tap into ACM’s training programme and collaborate with the school on a range of masterclasses, songwriting camps and A&R courses for its own staff.

The partnership follows ACM’s recent acquisition by entrepreneur Kainne Clements, who is co-owner of Metropolis.

Clements said: ‘I was struck by the synergies in both companies, although obviously catering to a completely different client base.  You can see the thread where a student at ACM takes advantage of the relationship with Metropolis to help develop their career, and likewise, Metropolis' clients stand to gain from a creative talent pool of graduates who understand the business.’

Chris Parles, head of the Industry Link team at ACM, added: ‘Industry integration is at the heart of the ACM experience, to ensure students have the requisite skills necessary to enter and sustain a professional career in the industry. We are excited to work with Metropolis to support our students’ development.’

The studio creatively treats around 50 percent of the music in the UK Top 40 charts and also operates a Grammy-nominated record label. It is home to a team of Grammy-winning mastering engineers, a video Production Company and a Creative Services division.
