Ed Sheeran, Everything Everything and Stormzy (above) are among the talent to receive two nominations apiece for the 2018 Ivor Novello Awards.
Sheeran has been nominated twice in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category for his hits Shape of You and Castle on the Hill.
Manchester four-piece Everything Everything are shortlisted in both the Best Song Musically and Lyrically category and Album Award category for Can’t Do and A Fever Dream respectively.
London MC Stormzy is also up for two gongs in the Best Contemporary Song category for Don’t Cry For Me and the Album Award category for his number one debut LP Gang Signs & Prayer.
Alongside Everything Everything, he is joined in the Album Award category by Ivor Novello Award first-timer This Is The Kit, whose Moonshine Freeze LP also received a nod.
Newcomer Dave is also in the running this time around, with a placing in the Best Contemporary Song category for Question Time, co-written by Fraser T Smith.
Fast-rising Nottingham pop behemoth Rag N Bone Man also receives his first ever nomination for Human, in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work category.
Elsewhere, previous BAFTA and Ivor Novello Award-winning screen composer Dan Jones has two more Ivor nominations this year in the Best Television Soundtrack shortlist, for SS-GB and The Miniaturist.
