Debbie Wiseman (top), Ed Scolding and Nick Crofts are among the composers to be honoured at the 2016 Music+Sounds Awards.

Wiseman received an award for her composition for ITV programme Wolf Hall, Scolding for his score to the film Mile End and Crofts for the music to the Eagle Vision trailer.

Elsewhere, Peter Raeburn, Luis Almau and Ben Castle received an award for their music to the Lurpak Freestyle broadcast advert, while Simon Smith and Sasha Agranov received an accolade for their score to the short film The Guardian.

The fourth annual International Music+Sound Awards took place in London last week to recognise media composers, sound designers, sync teams and music supervisors.

Once again, the event supported the charity Nordoff Robbins, donating £5 from each entry to the music therapy organisation.

Emma Maguire, managing director of the Music+Sound Awards, said: ‘Our congratulations to all the winners and finalists of 2016’s International Music+Sound Awards. We thank all of our entrants, judges and partners for supporting the 4th International Awards.

‘The winners truly deserve the international acclaim they are receiving.  Hearing so much boundary-pushing work from around the world creates such inspiration and raises the bar for all the industries involved.’
