Imogen Heap, PRS for Music’s Debbie Stones and Peace manager Tara Richardson are among recipients from the 2015 Women in Music honours.

Taking place in London on 13 November, the awards is a joint venture from Music Week, UK Music and AIM and launched to celebrate the most successful female executives in the industry.

This year’s list was voted for by Music Week’s readership and after consultation with an industry panel consisting of senior executives at leading companies from all sectors.

Tom Pakinkis, Music Week editor, said: ‘Let’s be honest, we weren’t sure about this when we launched it last year, and we, along with AIM and UK Music, were really wary of striking the wrong tone or becoming part of the problem rather than a sliver of the solution.

‘Thankfully, the day turned out to be a really joyous and inspiring celebration of some fantastic execs, artists, campaigners and pioneers. The feedback we had was uniformly positive and we’re delighted to be returning to the Royal Garden to honour more women in music and hear some more of their stories.’
